ArtCircleResidence is delighted to present an evening of Performances by ACR Artists Barbara Camille Tanze (Germany), Voice, Špela Pirnat (Slovenia), Alto and Vladimir Mlinarić (Croatia), Piano, as they perform: ‘There are no boarders in music’

The evening will also feature Artist presentations from Amir Fallah, Sweden, Dr. Stefanie Schulte, Germany, and connecting via video, live portraiture painting by Tsering Hannaford, in Australia.

‘There are no boarders in music’

What influence does the sound of a language have on the vocal music written for it? How does the sound of a voice or the style of music influence the interpretation of a song? And what does a Beethoven aria have in common with a French chanson?

This program is definitely a bit different from a common recital, for we are taking the public on an interactive discovery of different languages, sounds and musical styles.

All of the carefully chosen pieces have been rearranged for Voice, Piano and Alto. Based on their content and meaning, they symbolize the 4 seasons connecting Europe and the whole world as does music in general. The musicians come from 3 different countries and have known each other for years- a friendship that has its origin in sharing music and now flows back into this collaboration.

Originally planned and prepared for an event in the beginning of March 2020 in Slovenia, the premiere of the program unfortunately had to be cancelled due to the Covid-19-crisis. We are beyond thrilled to bring it to life in Sweden!
